After the death of his father, little Benedikt becomes very attached to his father’s old knight’s armor. It is the only thing that gives him protection. However, his attempt to finally be a knight ends in a brawl with his arch-enemy. His desperate mother then sells the armor in the hope of helping him. Benedikt must now go on a great journey to get the armor back. Along the way, it becomes clear that he can be a brave knight even without it.
