„Down the Rabbit-Hole“ refers to a quote from the novel Alice in Wonderland: „Dear, dear! How queer everything is to-day! And yesterday things went on just as usual. I wonder if I’ve been changed in the night? Let me think: was I the same when I got up this morning?“
In the silent loop projection, the camera floats through a dubious room in which the floor is covered with a multitude of sleeping teenage girls, showing an almost grotesque image of an adolescent deep sleep, a state of endless transition.
